To maintain personal cleanliness, there are several things one has to do:

Prioritizing personal cleanliness can positively impact overall health and well-being by boosting confidence, enhancing comfort in social settings, bolstering self-esteem, and supporting good mental health. Ultimately, integrating good personal hygiene habits into our routines is vital for upholding a healthy lifestyle.

Maintaining personal cleanliness helps prevent the transmission of germs and infections. Adhering to good hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing and bathing, eliminates dirt, sweat, and bacteria, lowering the risk of illness and infection. This can have a positive impact on overall health and well-being.

Bath or shower regularly:
It is good to take a bath daily, using soap and water to clean the body thoroughly. Depending on the type of your daily routine, or more frequently if you are sweating or engaging in activities that make you dirty, take a bath when required. However, it is recommended to take a bath 3–4 times a week, which would be better for health and the environment.

Wash your hands:
Washing your hands with soap and water is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs and diseases. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, especially before eating or preparing food, after using the bathroom, and after coughing or sneezing.
Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Brush your teeth:
To prevent the cavities, we need to remove the plaque, for which we need to brush. Brushing your teeth at least twice a day can help prevent tooth decay, bad breath, and gum disease, preferably after meals, and floss at least once daily.

Wear clean clothes:
During our daily day-to-day activities, we are exposed to the outside world, which attracts a lot of dust, bacteria, dirt which can create discomfort and cause skin irritation. Wearing clean clothes can help you look and feel fresh, as well as prevent the spread of bacteria, germs, and illness.

Trim your nails:
Trimming the nails is part of self-care. Short and clean nails are less likely to trap dirt and bacteria, which can lead to infections / entering our body. Keeping your nails trimmed and clean can help prevent the buildup of dirt and bacteria. The best time to trim your nails is immediately after taking a bath or shower.

Keep your living space clean:
Regularly cleaning your living space keeps the place tidy, brings positive energy and helps to focus. Making your bed each day can help you feel calm and organized. Set aside time each week to tidy up and put things away to prevent clutter from building up. Disinfecting and deep cleaning will help prevent destroying viruses, bacteria and allergies.

Practice good hygiene habits:
Good hygiene habits can help to protect yourself from illness and the spread of disease. Handwashing  frequently to keep the hands clean. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, use tissues to blow your nose, and dispose of them immediately. Avoid touching your face, especially your mouth, nose, and eyes, as this can spread germs. Make a habit of a good daily routine for self-care, body hygiene and dental hygiene.
